INTRODUCTION TO PEB

With the advent of industrial and commercial revolution in the country, need for economical and affordable constructions has become a priority. One of the revolutionary concepts for catering this demand is Pre Engineered Buildings (PEB) which revolutionized the construction market using built ups in place of conventional hot rolled sections. Pre Engineered buildings is a steel structure built over a structural concept of primary members, secondary members and cover sheeting connected to each other. The structural members are custom designed to be lighter in weight as well as high in strength. Pre Engineered Steel buildings can be fitted with different structural additions like trusses, mezzanine floors, fascia’s, canopies and crane systems as per user requirements.

PRE-ENGINEERED STEEL BUILDING

These are tailor made building based on client’s requirement & whose actual design calculations is measured using tapered sections. Its development includes a combination of built up section, hot rolled section, cold formed elements and profiled sheets.Its development process includes designing, casting of building components. All the designing and casting is done by us in our own fully developed manufacturing unit then it is brought to the site for fixing and jointing to form a PEB BUILDING. All Components are bolted.

COLD STORAGE

We are providing PEB Structure of cold storage or cold shed, which are constructed on large and small scale level. WAREHOUSES

A warehouse is a commercial building for storage of goods. Warehouses are used by manufacturers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, transporters, custom clearing houses etc. They are usually large plain buildings in industrial areas . They usually have loading docks to load and unload goods from trucks. Sometimes warehouses are designed for the loading and unloading of goods directly from railways, airports or seaports.Stored goods can include any raw materials, packing materials, spare parts, components or finished goods associated.

DESIGN & ESTIMATION

PEB, as a concept, finds its strength in its innovative design process. This process derives its strength from optimization by which metal is deployed to its required extent exactly matched to the loads that are incident on that element. We do follow the latest Codes featuring best grades of steel (high tensile or otherwise). Our Design team is well equipped with trained and experienced design engineers along with design drafting facilities like AutoCAD, STAADPRO and special Customised software.

FRAMING SYSTEM

Some of the most common primary framing systems are shown in slides ahead, asymmetrical framing system and multi span framing system with unequal width module are also possible, but may require more engineering time.

Primary Members

Primary members consists of columns, rafters, beams etc. These are fabricated from high strength HR Plates. Plates are cut to size using Hi Tech CNC and Oxy Cutting machines. Built up sections are made from these plates.

Secondary Members

Secondary Members used in PEB include Purlins, Side Runners, Eave Struts, Fascia Channels, Doors, Windows, Rafters Stays and Bracings etc.

Purlins and girts are cold rolled formed light gage C & Z sections varying in depth from 180 to 300 mm and in thickness from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm as per design requirements.

All primary connection fasteners will be with high strength bolts conforming to the physical specification to the ASTM A325 or equivalent.

The fasteners for the cladding / roofing includes GI self-tapping screws/ GI Self drilling screws in varying sizes to suit the roofing / cladding requirements. These are accompanied with neoprene or EPDM washers to obtain long services and maximum weather resistance. TECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF BASE MATERIALS
GALVALUME STEEL

Galvalume steel is a zinc aluminium coated steel offering high corrosion resistance. This alloy coating com comprises of 55% aluminium 43% zinc and 1.5% silicon. This Coating offers a superior barrio protection against varied atmospheric conditions. The coating class is AZ-150 as per AS : 1397, which means 150gms/m2 minimum coating mass total of both sides. Galvalume sheets are available in tensile strengths of 300, 345 & 550 MPa

GALVANIZED STEEL

Galvanized steel comprises of galvanized zinc coating over mild steel of minimum coating mass 120 gms / m2 as per IS 277 in tensile strength of min. 240 MPa.

1) Galvalume Steel : Super Polyester XRW, Silicon modified polyester or fluoropolymer 20 microns ( exposed side ) & neutral alkyd back coat of 5 microns over primer coat of 5 microns on both side.
2) Galvanized Steel : Polyester top coat of 20 microns over primer of 5 micron ( exposed side ) & alkyd back coat of 5 microns over primer coat of 5 microns.
